Upon consulting with fire officials, Geoff Hinkle (Emergency Management Coordinator with the Kansas City, MO Office of Emergency Management) issues an evacuation order for businesses within an approximate 1/2-mile radius of the HFSM Kansas City Terminal. Ms. Hinkle notes the perimeter of the evacuation zone encompasses the BNSF Argentine Yard, Pentair manufacturing facility, Estes Express Lines regional freight terminal, Blue Bell creamery, River’s Edge Scrap Management recycling yard, ABC Auto Salvage yard, and Five Rivers Transport facility. This is a Drill!
